Hong Kong! At the moment, my home! The city's slogan: "Live it, Love it". And it is true.

9 months of Hong Kong

........make me deeply feel like a Chinese.

end balance: 100 kg rice eaten, 3256 pages read, 4 colds due to aircondition and iced drinks, 2390 km of the fastest public transportation in the world driven, 151299 stairs climbed, at least 600 doors not kept opened by someone else and slammed into my face (Gisi, how much is yours?), 7834 levels of elevator rides taken and 4 baby thyphoons experienced.

The pure Hong Kong experience! Did I pass?

I had a wonderful time here and it definitely would not have been like this if there weren't the special people I was lucky to have. Thanks to
my father, mother and Ko, who have been supporting me mentally through this adventure.
Khruu Tuk, who always has been there for me, taking care with all the love she has.
Renate, kept me alive, giving me the good old "home" feeling whenever I needed it.
Gisilein, Frau Kollegin Preinfalk, old house, we helped eachother out with the basic Austrian complaining culture.
Heloise, motivating with her positive attitude.
Alex, my dearest brother, arranging a flight home for my dad's 70's birthday and always there in need.
Michaela, lending me her ear and giving good advice.
Gift, listening to all my blablabla and nonesense, but also sharing the good moments with me. You are always there for me, no matter what.
Anna, the crazy girl from Vienna, who has the funniest dancing style I have ever seen and makes me laugh until I drop.
Dr. Marcus Einbock, supervising my thesis over 10.000 km.
Leslie, the smartest and funniest American woman, with a great sense for reality.
Tony, who saved my life. I won't forget.

And all other friends I forgot to mention.

Bye Bye Hong Kong University

HKU Celebration

I found this picture on the HKU website. Through the language centre my thai class joined, with thai costumes, the spectacle as well (on the right).

Thai class farewell

My lovely thai class (crazy Adun was missing). We went to a quite authentic Thai Restaurant in Shek O. It's a big big pitty that everything is over now. I wish I could at least participate in the following thai sessions next semester. :(

Hanging out in Hong Kong...

.........like him,

or them.... gave me the possibility to discover every sight I missed until now. 2 weeks of walking around and exploring places I haven't seen even after a year, what a shame right? But now I had the time and mood to do so. Here are my last impressions.......

is the cat the set lunch?

pay extra for a quiet car.........no money, no silence.

The last days were a little sentimental. It's an incredibly perfect city and I wish that I will be able to come back someday.

Also fettig und totgekocht.

Also sozusagen ein jeder!
